About Me
I am an HCPC Registered and BPS Chartered Practitioner Psychologist from the Cayman Islands, currently based in the North East of England. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and a deep belief in the healing potential of safe, collaborative relationships.
Over the past thirteen years, I’ve worked across the UK, Canada, and the Caribbean in settings as diverse as medium-secure hospitals, prisons, outpatient clinics, and private practice. My clinical background is grounded in forensic psychological assessment, trauma therapy, and crisis intervention, with particular expertise in supporting individuals living with complex trauma, personality difficulties, neurodivergence, and severe mental health challenges.
I hold a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology from the University of Birmingham, alongside advanced training in EMDR, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Therapy for Complex Trauma. My academic journey began with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto, followed by a First-Class MSc in Forensic Psychology from the University of Kent, and more recently, a Distinction-level MSc in Business and Organisational Psychology from Coventry University.
On a more personal (and semi-professional) level, I identify as an aspiring liberation psychologist. I am committed to dismantling oppressive systems and co-creating inclusive, culturally attuned spaces where people feel safe, seen, and supported in their full humanity. Whether I’m offering therapy, coaching, supervision, or organisational consulting, my work is always about making room for truth, transformation, and connection.
Outside of work, I’m a dog mum, Caribbean-sea daydreamer, and unapologetic anime enthusiast. I’m also a compassionate nerd who believes joy, humour, and justice all belong in the room with us.

What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients who work with me often come with a history of feeling unheard, misjudged, or pathologised. Many have experienced complex trauma, personality-related difficulties, or have found it hard to trust professionals in the past. I aim to offer something different—a calm, grounded space where your story can unfold at your pace.
I bring a trauma-informed, compassion-focused lens to all my work. That means I’ll meet you with curiosity, not assumptions. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, make space for difficult emotions, and work toward practical strategies that support your healing and growth.
Whether you’re navigating distress, exploring identity, or trying to make sense of long-standing patterns, I approach our work with deep respect, clinical clarity, and care.
